The 2023 Dreamworld Fun Run will be held on Sunday 4th August 2024 from 6:30am.

Participants who purchased their entry prior to Friday 26th July and have collected their timed racing bibs before race day are encouraged to arrive 45 mins before their race starts.

Participants who purchased their entry from Friday 26th July onwards are encouraged to arrive 90 mins before their race starts to allow time to collect their timed racing bibs.

5km Fun Run - Race starts at 6:30am.
Participants are encouraged to arrive for check-in from 5:45am

2km Junior Dash - Race starts at 7:30am.
Participants are encouraged to arrive for check-in from 6:45am

5km Fun Run - Children under the age of 11 are required to be accompanied by a fully paid and registered parent and/or guardian for the duration of the 5km fun run.

2km Junior Dash - A parent and/or guardian does not need to be registered to run with a child in the Kids (3-13yrs) 2km Junior Dash but will not receive a keepsake Fun Run finishers medal, only the registered child will.

Yes, bag storage will be available at WhiteWater World Guest Services and opens 5.30am on race day. Please have your bib ready to include the bag storage tearaway number.

Your registration fee will help us cover the administrational costs of your entry, your entry bib, your finisher medal and some of the event’s staffing.

Plus, $5 from each registration is donated directly to our charity partners, LIVIN or Guide Dogs Queensland.

Yes, all fun run results are preliminary when you cross the finish line but can be accessed immediately. Approximately 2 hours after the event completion you can access your official result and download an eCertificate.

Yes, our event photographers code all action shots according to your race bib number which makes accessing your photos easy. Photos will be available for viewing after the event has concluded.

Yes, we encourage all participants to get into the spirit and dress up for the event.

Prizes will be up for grabs for the best dressed!

Yes there is a water station along the course.

The start line is located outside Dreamworld's front entry gate.

The finish line is located in the WhiteWater World park adjacent to Dreamworld.

Absolutely, you can fundraise for LIVIN or Guide Dogs Queensland using your own online fundraising page.

Yes, family & friends of registered participants are welcome to spectate the event. Please note spectators will only be permitted in designated areas.

Yes, Green Bean Coffee Co in Dreamworld and Bite Me Cafe in WhiteWater World will be open from 5.30am serving coffee, breakfast burgers, hashbrowns and a selection of fruit salad, wraps and muffins for purchase.

Yes, however, a valid entry ticket is required. 
Valid Annual Passholders are able to visit using their pass as normal.

Registered Fun Run participants will receive a code by email the day before the race to upgrade their Fun Run entry to a Locals Annual Pass for a discounted rate using their registration details.
