On Thursday 24th November 2022, Dreamworld's CEO Greg Yong announced over $50 million of investment into the park throughout 2023 & 2024 to deliver new attractions and area upgrades.
Included in this investment are the new Dreamworld Flyer, the refreshed kids land, Kenny and Belinda's Dreamland, including two new kids rides, an extension of Ocean Parade including a new splash pad and a brand new themed land featuring a reimagined family favourite in Vintage Cars and a major new family rollercoaster.

The iconic entry to Dreamworld has been enhanced with an exciting new Wave Swinger attraction, The Dreamworld Flyer, situated alongside the Dreamworld Globe and sending guests tilting and spinning into the sky.
This family-friendly ride is suitable for children and adults, offering a delightful experience soaring over the famous globe. The attraction also offers an additional pay-per-play offering to the park’s Night Market.

Everyone’s favourite kids and family attractions are found in one place, with the new $15 million Dreamworld branded kids area making way for more local partnerships with homegrown brands that Dreamworld guests know and love.
Some of your favourites have been reimagined with new theming including the Bananas in Pyjamas Carousel, Belinda's Treehouse and Humpty-Go-Round. We also have some brand-new rides and attractions that are now open including Big Red Planes, the Dreamworld Theatre and Seabed Splash!
The crowning jewel in Kenny and Belinda's Dreamland is the brand-new ride, Big Red Boat, giving guests a fun, new rollercoaster that the whole family can enjoy together!

The refurbishment project extends into Ocean Parade precinct including a reimagination of the bumper cars attraction and Serpent Slayer thrill ride, with the addition of a themed splash zone to help younger guests cool down in the warmer months.

The land previously occupied by ABC KIDS and The Wiggles World is being re-developed into a brand-new themed environment, aptly named Rivertown due to its location adjacent to the Murrissippi River.
The area will offer a unique, immersive, and heavily themed experience, and will feature two jewels in its crown…

Opening late-2024
Vintage Cars Adventure will be relocated into Rivertown and redesigned to suit the surrounding lush jungle theming as Murrissippi Motors.
Brand new vehicles will be introduced, offering a new air of adventure to the attraction. Guests will be able to jump on board a Dreamworld family favourite with a whole new look.
Opening late-2024
The most significant single investment in this phase of the plan, and in Dreamworld’s history will be in a new, world-class family rollercoaster, Jungle Rush!
Designed and built by the world-renowned manufacturer, Vekoma, the $35 million ride will offer an experience suitable for both kids and adults and will feature the world’s first inclined turntable, as well as Dreamworld’s most immersive theming and storytelling ever built.
It will include 12 airtime elements, dedicated show moments and the ability to run both backwards and forwards!
