Dreamworld Safari

Take your class on a walk through the wild, and go on safari at Dreamworld. This staff-lead education talk is an interactive experience for young children, encouraging an early appreciation of the unique adaptations of living things. Students will be guided through the use of storytelling and dress up, to learn how animals adapt and suit certain environments. Your class will also get to meet cute, cuddly and scaly native wildlife.

Earn your stripes in tiger biology and conservation with an expert-lead Tiger Talk. Held at the purpose-built Tiger Island amphitheatre, students will learn about various aspects of a tiger behaviour, diet, interactions, adaptions and conservation from one of Dreamworld's Tiger Handlers. Using replica skeletons, handlers will show how tigers have adapted to be superior hunters in the wild. The Tiger Talk also focuses on Dreamworld's conservation efforts for tigers and explains the plight of tigers in the wild.

Ride Science

Bilby Talk

Learn about the plight of the bilby in the wild and how your students can make a difference. The Bilby Talk includes information on the bilby food web, physical characteristics, habitat and the predator proof fence installed at Currawinya National Park, where captive bred bilbies are re-released.

Take a tour through the four major Australian environments all in one place! Students will investigate the characteristics and native wildlife of Rainforests, Woodlands, Wetlands and Arid climate within Dreamworld Corroboree, and ultimately learn the future of Australia’s animals depends on our compassion and commitment to help them. This self-guided tour will also highlight the work of the Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation on a global scale.

Do you have what it takes to design a Tiger Enclosure?!
Our new "STEM – Tiger Island" program gives students the chance to learn about the design and engineering considerations, materials used, and habitat requirements during their exclusive Tiger Handler talk. Students will learn about requirements to provide them stimulation during the day, the design requirements of Tiger Island and the tigers' night time quarters, as well as general behavioural traits and conservation efforts. Students will then investigate, review and ask questions to produce their own modifications or additions to Tiger Island.
This program is suitable for upper primary and secondary students exploring STEM concepts. Student workbook PDF is included.

Our new "STEM – Corroboree" program gives students the chance to learn about the design and engineering considerations, materials used, and animal habitat requirements during their exclusive Animal Keeper talk. Students will learn about requirements to provide them stimulation during the day, the design requirements of enclosures and night-time quarters, as well as general behavioural traits and conservation efforts. Students will then investigate, review and ask questions to produce their own modifications or additions to their chosen animal enclosure.
This program is suitable for upper primary and secondary students exploring STEM concepts. Student workbook PDF is included.
